Within these above linked articles - VolusiaExposed expressed our concerns regarding the criminal prosecution of Dana Delaney Loyd - the chief editor of BrevardsBestNews.Com.

Loyd was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff Department in August 2015 under the allegation that she made a false call to the Florida Abuse Hotline. Loyd expressed concerns that a local father was sexually engaging his pre-teen daughter. This father has been similarly reported by others - to include professionals that are mandated by law to report their suspicions / concerns.

As explained in our earlier articles - VolusiaExposed.Com has the opinion that Loyd did not violate the law - and that the arrest and prosecution of Loyd were in retaliation for her critical articles regarding the sheriff department (BCSO) and the local state attorney's office (SA).

Further - as discussed in our August 29, 2016 article - the assignment of Circuit Judge Robin Lemonidis to the Loyd case is very disconcerting to us here at VolusiaExposed.Com.

Judge Lemonidis is forbidden - by judicial order - from hearing any cases attached to members of a certain local law firm. Loyd's alleged victim (the child's father) is currently engaged in a decade long custody battle regarding this particular child (the subject of Loyd's Abuse Hotline call). The father is currently represented by the very same law firm that Judge Lemonidis has been forbidden from presiding over.

VolusiaExposed has concerns that not only has the Loyd prosecution been guided by the retaliatory agendas of both the BCSO and SA offices - but that Judge Lemonidis' connections to this local law firm has also poisoned the waters of truth within the Brevard County well of justice.

Judge Lemonidis has scheduled a hearing - roughly a month from now - to determine Loyd's Motion to Dismiss. VolusiaExposed intends to attend this hearing. We will let you know if we detect any puppet strings attached to Judge Lemonidis. Stand by to stand by --- more to come....
