are par for the course

Florida's State Attorney's Offices (SAOs) are widely known for their corrupt practices - this corruption was the driving force behind the Florida Legislature trying to pass a law - creating the Statewide Council on Prosecutorial Misconduct within the Department of Legal Affairs. Unfortunately - the bill died in March 2022 within a Criminal Justice subcommittee... surprise ...surprise... surprise (sarcasm attached).

Corruption surrounding SAOs usually involves unjustly prosecuting some influential persons' political or financial opponents - OR failing to fully prosecute some influential persons for obvious criminal activity (in our OPINION - such is the case regarding the Suzanna Norris prosecution - more on this shortly).

Another prime example of this type of SAO corruption is the case of Florida State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister (Third Judicial Circuit).

In early 2021 - Federal officials charged Siegmeister with conspiracy, extortion, bribery and fraud involving "deals" to settle court cases. It must be fully appreciated that FEDERAL OFFICIALS had to step in - because Florida State law enforcement officials tend to ignore this type of government corruption - AND are usually - in some way - complicit with the misconduct.

In February of this year (2022) - Siegmeister took a plea deal with Federal prosecutors.

Honor Within Law Enforcement - When Tattoos Speak

Within our August 29, 2021 article, this publication questioned whether Sheriff Ivey was a member of - or was sympathetic to - the seditious group known as The Oath Keepers?

Several of the Oath Keepers, to include it's leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes have been federally charged with seditious acts against the United States of America - due to their participation - and / or planning - in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Within his July 2021 article, FloridaToday.Com reporter Alessandro Marazzi Sassoon attempted to uncover whether Sheriff Ivey was an active member of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) - founded and lead by former Arizona sheriff Richard Mack.

According to a media source (Wikipedia) - the "Constitutional Sheriff movement" - "has some ideological similarities with the self-styled patriot movement and sovereign citizen movement, and some members of those movements also espouse "constitutional sheriff" ideology. The "constitutional sheriff" or "county supremacy" movement itself arose from the far-right Posse Comitatus, a racist and anti-Semitic group of the 1970s and 1980s that also defined the county sheriff as the highest "legitimate" authority in the country, and was characterized by paramilitary figures and the promotion of conspiracy theories. Sheriffs are not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution. The ideological basis of the sheriffs' movement is instead based on various incorrect historical and legal claims".

According to Mr. Sassoon's reporting - ........In 2012, Ivey was publicly boasting about his endorsement by Sheriff Mack, portraying it as the imprimatur of a leading light in law enforcement."I am honored to receive Sheriff Mack's endorsement," he said at the time. "Upholding the oath to the Constitution and maintaining the liberties of our citizens is essential and a vital part of our job as criminal justice professionals and leaders," he wrote in a January 2012 Facebook post that also cited the CSPOA. Asked about his ties to Mack and the CSPOA, sheriff's office spokesman Goodyear would only say that Ivey's Facebook page was not affiliated with the CSPOA. "The Sheriff stated he would not be commenting further on this matter," Goodyear added, saying he will not speak to FLORIDA TODAY............""

While Sheriff Ivey would not speak to Mr. Sassoon regarding his 2021 FloridaToday.Com article - in 2016 - Sheriff Ivey has no problems with giving Mr. Ryan Ramsey an interview for his podcast radio show (see below linked audio file).

Sheriff Ivey's Interview
With Ryan Ramsey

Internet sources allege that Mr. Ramsey has had past associations with the white nationalist sub-culture (skinheads) - but that he has repudiated his associations with the racist sub-culture.

While Mr. Ramsey has attempted to distance himself from his racist past - his recent social media activity (click here) and Internet profile tends to indicate his apparent continued association, or at least sympathies with the “white nationalist” movement.

Obviously, Mr. Ramsey has the right to his political ideologies – and this publication shall allow his apparent Internet comments and posts to speak for themselves. With that said - Ramsey's political idealogies are important to understand - given that Sheriff Ivey appears to only provide media interviews to media organizations and reporters that align themselves to his own political idealogies.

Excerpts from a Huffington Post article
"Living In The Florida County That Became
A Breeding Ground For Capitol Rioters

“Thank you for reaching out to me and here is a great picture of me and my dog ‘Junny’ that you can feel free to use in your story!!” Ivey wrote in his email to HuffPost. “Please be sure to send me a link to the article as I always enjoy a good chuckle.”

"Ivey treats the press as his enemy. His department allegedly refused to talk to a Black reporter from Florida Today after deeming him “big, boisterous and pushy.” Ivey more recently told another Florida Today reporter to “never challenge my authority.”"

Florida Today's Reporter J.D. Gallop

..too "big, boisterous and pushy" for Sheriff Wayne Ivey's BCSO

In January 2016 - while Sheriff Ivey was attending the Florida House hearing regarding pending “Open Carry” legislation (legislation Ramsey clearly supports - see the above picture) - Ivey took the opportunity to be photographed with Mr. Ramsey (see below pic). Shortly thereafter - Ivey gave Mr. Ramsey his radio show interview (see above link to radio show audio).

This publication encourages our readers to listen to minutes three (3) to four (4) of Ramsey's radio show interview (see above link to audio). Sheriff Ivey memorializes his affinity for Richard Mack and the CSPOA.

Who is
Richard Mack?

In addition of being the founder of the CSPOA - records indicate that former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack is on the board of directors of Elmer Stewart Rhodes' seditious group - the Oath Keepers.

In 2013 - both Mack and Rhodes came to Florida, as "Oath Keepers" (see pic to the right =>) - in support of Liberty County (Fl.) Sheriff Nick Finch.

Finch got his political "pee pee" caught in the proverbial screen door regarding his controversial firearm policies. (Sheriff Finch is also in the January 2016 photo with Sheriff Ivey and Ryan Ramsey)

One of the founding beliefs of the Oath Keepers - is for law enforcement officers not to enforce gun laws (click here - to read about the Oath Keepers "Molon Labe" pledge).

Sheriff Ivey is known for his "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" (also known as "Molon Labe") tattoo - see picture to right of this page.

Therefore, it is clear - based on the above evidence - that Sheriff Ivey has direct associations with at least one white nationalist political gadfly (Ramsey), and with the seditious organization - the Oath Keepers (Mack). Is Brevard County, Florida "livin' on the edge"?

Kinda makes us wonder - why would any honest politician seek out Sheriff Ivey's political endorsement?

Maybe it's the old adage - "Birds of a feather - tend to flock together"? Maybe the Huffington Post was on to something within their January 6, 2022 article - Brevard County is a breeding ground for capitol rioters (seditionists) - and maybe Sheriff Ivey is their leader (führer)?

A Rare Political Event
Incumbent Judge Picks Up A Re-election Opponent

A rare political event has unfolded within Florida's Eighteenth Judicial Circuit (Seminole & Brevard counties). Chief Judge Jessica Recksiedler has picked up a re-election opponent - Attorney John Mannion (mannionforjudge.com).

It had become pretty much standard politicial practice for incumbent judges to merely file for re-election - with the expectation that they will NOT pick up any re-election challengers. Come the campaign filing closing date - incumbent judges have become accustomed to winning re-election by default - having no challengers to their re-election bids.

This year (2022) - Chief Judge Jessica Recksiedler (18th Circuit - Brevard / Seminole) had an unexpected - and surely an un-welcomed surprise - when local attorney John Mannion decided to challenge her for the judicial seat.

HONORABLE judges RARELY pick up a challenger - but those judges that do, tend to be judges that have DISHONOR the judiciary. This has become the fate of the dis-Honorable Judge Jessica Recksiedler.

The Reigning "(w)Bitch of Brevard".

Ever since Circuit Judge Robin "Railroad" Lemonidis decided not to seek re-election in 2020 - Chief Judge Recksiedler became OUR (VolusiaExposed.Com) reigning "(w)Bitch of Brevard".

Like Judge Recksiedler - State Attorney Phil Archer Is Peddling Lies Too !
The Truth Regarding The Homicide Of Passion Lucas Is Found Within The Hidden Details

No one (the police, state attorney, Suzanna Norris (criminal defendant)) - is denying - that in the early morning pre-dawn hours of June 20, 2021 - that Suzanna Norris - while driving with over twice the legal blood alcohol limit - struck and killed pedestrian Passion Lucas - mother of six.

Also not disputed - is the fact, that Norris initially left the traffic homicide scene - returning to the scene a short time later.

What is being disputed - is whether Norris' alcohol intoxication either "caused" OR "contributed" to Lucas' death? (see Florida Statute 316.193 - lower right of this page)

VolusiaExposed.Com "OPINES" that it would be extremely difficult to honestly argue that Norris' highly intoxicated state did not - at the very least - "contribute" to Norris striking and killing Lucas. Therefore, under Florida State Statutes - Norris should be prosecuted for the DUI manslaughter of Passion Lucas.

Passion Lucas
So why has the local State Attorney (SA Phil Archer) opted NOT to criminally prosecute Norris for DUI manslaughter? In the OPINION of this publication - the answer is POLITICS (strap in tight - this is about to get real !).

As discussed within our February 26, 2022 article - Norris was not arrested the morning of Lucas' death.

It took the Cocoa PD over five (5) months - and only after - the Lucas family had secured the services of local attorney Jessica Travis - for the (CPD) to charge Norris with DUI and DUI manslaughter.

However, as per the State Attorney's (SA) February 16, 2022 press release - the SA quickly dropped the DUI manslaughter charge against Norris. (The SA did proceed with the simple DUI prosecution - absent the manslaughter upgrade)

The SA's rationale for dropping the DUI manslaughter charge was due to an accident reconstruction report completed by Florida Forensic Engineering, INC.(FFE).

In short - the FFE report authored a preliminary conclusion (see page 4 of report) stating - that even a sober driver would have been unable to avoid striking Lucas - due to the lack of lighting, and the alleged fact that Lucas was wearing dark clothing.

However, the facts and evidence (pictures and videos - see right of page) contained within the police investigation, as well as within the FFE report - clearly shows that Lucas was not wearing dark clothing.

The truth of the matter - is that Lucas was wearing white exercise pants - that were light reflective (see still photo - right of this page).

In March 2022 - Attorney Travis provided the State Attorney's Office (SAO) with an additional forensic report prepared by Focus Forensics - which provided a preliminary conclusion that Norris - absent her alcohol intoxication - should have been able to avoid her collision with Lucas.

The Focus Forensics report, (as well as Attorney Travis' cover letter) identified several investigative flaws within the Florida Forensic Engineering report - including the flawed finding that Lucas was wearing dark clothing..

According to a May 27, 2022 letter between Attorney Travis and the SAO - it would appear that the SAO conducted their own traffic reconstruction experiments on May 25, 2022 - concluding that the presence of traffic "construction barrels" impeded Norris' ability to timely detect Lucas' presence - thus slowing Norris's response time - in order to avoid the collision.

Travis noted - within her May 27, 2022 letter - that Dr. Palframan had emphasized "that the SAO employees are not trained experimental experts and that the procedure (was) not scientific or standardized".

According to Dr. Palframan's supportive analysis report (see page / slide 87) - "...the presence of the orange construction drums had a negligible effect on the pedestrian’s detectability."

Obviously - the SAO is trying their hardest not to criminally charge Norris with DUI manslaughter. First, they (SAO) attempted to use the flawed Florida Forensic Engineering report - as their justification of not prosecuting Norris. When that did not work - they conducted their own unqualified "forensic" review - and assign the fault for Lucas' death to the presence of "construction barrels".

The Lucas family did obtain some justice - recently Norris plead "nolo contendere" to the DUI charge (absent the manslaughter upgrade) and was sentenced to six (6) months in jail - and eleven (11) months of probation.

Attorney Travis has also filed a civil suit against Norris regarding Lucas' death (see Travis' videos regarding the Norris / Lucas situation ->>).

In the end - the civil suit through depositions and civil discovery - may shed some additional light - as to whether the SAO was "playing politics" regarding their decision not to prosecute Norris for DUI manslaughter.

VolusiaExposed.Com's Working Theory
Politics Over Policing

First, it is important for us to define the term "working theory". A working theory can be described as an educated guess based on circumstantial evidence. In short - it is really no more than an "OPINION".

Second, it is not unusual - for persons to receive a political favor - having never requested the favor - or having any knowledge of the favor given.

With the above in mind - this publication is going to explore our "working theory" on why the State Attorney opted not to criminally charge Suzanna Norris with DUI manslaughter.

According to Internet media sources - Suzanna Norris and her sister Shannon Norris are respected persons within the equestrian community of Brevard County.

Records support that the Norris sisters were heavily involved in the development of "Hidden Acres Rescue For Thoroughbreds" - a horse rescue organization in Cocoa, Florida.

Norris' horse rescue charity appears to be both honest and viable -
we recommend that contributors continue supporting this charity.

From what we (VolusiaExposed.Com) discovered - the Brevard County equestrian community is like a high school clique. They all pretty much know each other - and are protective of each other.

Dr. Jim Palermo and his spouse Kerry are also respected members of the Brevard equestrian community (see above picture).

Dr. Palermo is the Editor-In-Chief of SpaceCoastDaily.Com - a widely read publication - and apparently Sheriff Ivey's preferred local news outlet.

Sheriff Ivey routinely provides SpaceCoastDaily.Com (SCD) with media interviews - and is a contributing columnist to the publication (see below linked 2016 SCD article written by Ivey regarding the BCSO's mounted posse) .

RELATED MEDIA ARTICLE

Brevard County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse Conducts Training To Get Ready For Holiday Patrols (Sheriff Ivey)

Interestingly - according to a December 11, 2017 SpaceCoastDaily.Com article - Dr. Palermo and his spouse Kerry are (or were) members of the BCSO's mounted posse (see picture - upper right of this page).

Internet sources also appear to confirm that Sheriff Ivey is also a member of the Brevard County equestrian clique (see below picture).

Last April (2022) - in preparation for this article VolusiaExposed made an inquiry with the BCSO - questioning whether Suzanna or Shannon Norris had ever been a member of the BCSO's mounted posse. The BCSO replied as follows: "There are no documents responsive to your request. A search of the names provided showed no results."

If any of our readers have additional information regarding Suzanna or Shannon Norris' involvement in the BCSO mounted posse - please contact us at feedback@volusiaexposed.com

Assuming - that the BCSO is being accurate (truthful) - and neither of the Norris sisters have ever been a member of the BCSO posse - the posse would incorporate a large sub-section of the Brevard equestrian community - a clique that the Norris' are clearly a part of.

Cooking The "Prosecution Books" For Friends And Foes

It's the OPINION of this publication - Sheriff Ivey and State Attorney Phil Archer have a rather long history of "cooking up" criminal prosecutions against Ivey's critics.

Two particular victims of this tag teaming between Ivey and Archer are Internet reporter Dana Delaney Loyd and U.S. combat veteran Kathleen Edwards.

We suspect that Loyd became the target of Ivey's ire - because of her Internet articles exposing the sexual peccadilloes of some of Ivey's deputies - to include acts of pedophilia.

SPECIAL JUSTICE: Only Friends Need Apply

Regarding the Norris prosecution - we forward our OPINION - that SA Archer is purposefully scuttling the DUI manslaughter case against Norris as a "political favor" for someone - and someone likely attached to the Brevard equestrian community.

Similar to former State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister's corruption case - that involved cattle - we suspect that any prosecutorial misconduct within the Norris prosecution probably involves horses.

Wilbur....say it ain't so !

The Skyler Francis Fiasco
Justice Delayed - Is Justice Denied

In January 2016 - the Brevard County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) arrested 22 year old Skyler Francis for the murder of two BCSO deputies. (click here to read arrest report). This arrest report is ALSO readily viewable on the Clerk of the Court's website (BrevardClerk.us).

VolusiaExposed.Com CAN FULLY assure our readers that Francis is TOTALLY innocent - never having "murdered" two BCSO deputies. This in NOT our OPINION - rather it is FACT! Both "murdered" deputies are alive and well today.

How do we know that these deputies are alive - well both showed up to testified at Francis' trial (charges having been reduced to battery on two law enforcement officers) - and as documented in the below video from a May 16, 2022 court hearing - both deputies are refusing to allow the State Attorney's Office to enter into a plea bargain with Francis - regarding his active appeal for a new trial. (Listen to video - and the statement made by the assistant state attorney)

The arrest and criminal prosecution of Francis was a major clusterf*ck from beginning to end.

First - questions arose of whether the responding deputies even had the legal authority to tear down a privacy fence - in order to gain entry on to the Francis property, and to arrest him. Apparently, like their boss (Sheriff Ivey) - the responding deputies were not going to allow some 22 year old kid to "challenge their authority" !

Where Francis REALLY GOT SCREWED was being assigned Circuit Court Judge Robin "Railroad" Lemonidis - our former holder to the (w)Bitch of Brevard title.

Judge Lemonidis' judicial misconduct during the Francis' trial was so egregious - that in early 2020 - the Florida Supreme Court took disciplinary action against her for it.

Judge Lemonidis displayed similar misconduct within the 2017 Dana Delaney Loyd prosecution - even running off the bench to have a private meeting with the Loyd jury (see below March 27, 2017 videos). QUESTION: - when a judge has a private meeting with the jury ... could that be "jury tampering"?

Did Judge Lemonidis Order The Filing Of A False Violation Of Probation Affidavit Against Internet Reporter Dana Delaney Loyd?

The Florida Supreme Court articulated concerns that Judge Lemonidis' misconduct could have biased the Francis jury - thereby denying him a fair and unbiased trial.

Francis has been battling with the Court (18th Circuit) for a new trial - with an unbiased judge - ever since the Florida Supreme Court ruling against Lemonidis. Francis' most recent attempt was filed in November 2021.

In February 2022 - Judge Ballou ordered that a hearing be scheduled within twenty-one days. That hearing was never scheduled within the twenty-one day time frame. On May 16, 2022 - this publication attended a hearing in front of Judge Peacock (see below video) - whereas he ordered that a hearing be scheduled by May 20, 2022. As of the publication of this article - Francis still awaits a hearing on his motion for a new trial.

VolusiaExposed forwards the OPINION - that the Sheriff Ivey is aware that the BCSO "screwed the pooch" regarding Francis' arrest - and far beyond the mistake of incorrectly filing that two deputies had been murdered by Francis.

We further allege that the State Attorney's office - with the assistance of the Court are purposefully "delaying" Francis' due process (appeal) - as a favor to the BCSO (Ivey). Listen to the assistant state attorney during the May 16, 2022 hearing (see below video) - the deputies refused Francis' proposed plea deal. (basically time served - released with no probation).

So the Court - and the State Attorney - being fully aware of Lemonidis' judicial misconduct - are allowing Francis to remain in prison - denying him his timely due process (appeal) - so that they can squeeze a better plea bargain out of him (Francis). Does that equate to prosecutorial misconduct?

March 27, 2017 - Judge Lemonidis Returns To The Bench And Discusses Some Of The Details Of Her Private Meeting With The Loyd Jury. Some may allege that this (private meeting with jury) is "jury tampering".
Then again - this is the 18th Judicial Circuit - Land of "Constitutional" Sheriff Wayne Ivey, And The Home And Breeding Ground For Capitol Seditionists.
The Eighteenth Judicial Circuit (Judge Charlie Crawford) has also denied Loyd a new trial.... go figure.

All of the above - are normal daily events within Chief Judge Recksiedler's corrupt Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.

Meet Chief Judge Jessica Recksiedler.
Leadfoot & Lying

In September 2014 - while interviewing in front of the 5th District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) (see below video - right column of page) - Judge Recksiedler was "less than honest" with the JNC regarding her record of traffic violations. (video was captured by this publication - VolusiaExposed.Com)

Judge Recksiedler's "less than truthful" testimony to the JNC was reported to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission - with the end result of Judge Recksiedler receiving a public reprimand by the Florida Supreme Court.

Unfortunately about eighteen months (December 2016) after her Supreme Court reprimand (April 2015) - Judge Recksiedler was involved in a "hit and run" incident in Winter Park, Florida. (See below linked police reports - Recksiedler did leave a note - but did not remain on scene - and refused law enforcement's request to return on scene.)

According to available court records - Judge Recksiedler was charged with "careless driving". She plead "nolo contendere" - and the traffic court judge "withheld adjudication" against Recksiedler.

“Knowledge, like air, is vital to life. Like air, no one should be denied it.” ~ Alan Moore, V for Vendetta

...and there you have it !

Neither Sheriff Ivey or SA Archer are up for re-election this year (2022) - but Judge Recksiedler is up for re-election - and she is very proud that she has received both Ivey's and Archer's endorsements. Maybe Recksiedler should reach out to Sheriff Mack and Ryan Ramsey - and see if she can secure the endorsements of the seditious and white nationalist communities - then again maybe she has already secured those by proxy - via Ivey's and Archer's endorsements?

Heck - we (VolusiaExposed.Com) understand - that many in Brevard County are very comfortable with the level of corruption that currently exists within the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit - and if you are - then - Ivey, Archer and Recksiedler are definitely your candidates for office.

Just remember the words of Rev. Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) regarding Nazi Germany ~

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. "

Maybe, the time has come to be "big, boisterous, and pushy" - thank you Mr. Gallop - and FloridaToday.Com
