Local State Commission Forwards Seven (7) Nominees For Judicial Appointments There Are Two Judicial Openings - One Circuit, And One In The Volusia County Court Concerns With One Judicial Nominee Identified |
|
On March 3, 2025 - VolusiaExposed.Com attended, and video recorded, the vetting & interview processes of Florida's 7th Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC). The JNC was tasked with interviewing and vetting twelve (12) judicial candidates (see right of page =>) to fill two (2) open judicial positions, one being a Volusia County court seat, the other a circuit wide seat (Volusia, Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns). Upon the completion of the vetting, interview, and deliberation processes - the JNC forwarded seven (7) judicial nominees to Governor Ron DeSantis for his consideration in making the two judicial appointments. This publication has provided within this article - the video interviews and written applications of all twelve (12) applicants (see bottom of page). Judicial Candidate Robin Hutcheson Upon invitation of the JNC - we (VolusiaExposed.Com) expressed, within an "open letter" - our concerns regarding judicial candidate Robin Hutcheson. In short, we argue that Hutcheson failed to disclose - within question #54 of her JNC application (click here to review) - that she had in fact had a "complaint" filed against her "alleging malpractice" (Click here to directly review Question #54 - from the application). In August 2019, Mrs. Cathleen White - the spouse of a Port Orange police officer filed a "complaint" against Hutcheson in which she opined alleged "malpractice" by Hutcheson. Our concerns are NOT recent developments - in truth, this publication has expressed them before - please see our below linked earlier articles. VolusiaExposed.Com February 17, 2025 OPEN & PUBLISHED LETTER TO THE 7th CIRCUIT’S JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION VolusiaExposed.Com March 29, 2024 INJUSTICES WITHIN JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS The Devil Is Within The Political Endorsements We submit for your consideration, that our concerns regarding Candidate Hutcheson's failure to acknowledge Mrs. White's complaint - is in fact, a second documented complaint of "malpractice" against Hutcheson. |
We invite you to review Hutcheson's JNC interview (see the below video) - when questioned by a JNC commissioner regarding this publication's concerns, Hutcheson merely focused on the substance of Mrs. White's complaint - sidestepping the fact that she (Hutcheson) had failed to acknowledge the compliant within her judicial application.
|
We invite our readers to watch the video of Hutcheson's JNC interview (see right of page =>) to determine for themselves - whether the JNC commissioner AND Hutcheson engaged in acts of "attorney misdirection" while "addressing" the particular point of our complaint - on whether Hutcheson had failed to document a complaint of malpractice within her judicial application?
Accountable To Judicial Canons Judicial candidates are accountable to Florida Judicial Canons, in the particular Canon 7 (click here to read) Judicial Nominating Commissioners are accountable to Florida Statutes and the Florida Constitution. |
"The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But The Truth" Should any of us (citizens) ever have to testify in court - the Court (the judge), and any assigned attorneys - will outright demand, that our testimonies be "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". So, the question becomes - should judicial candidates be held to this same high standard? We believe that they should. Should Governor DeSantis also demand that his JNCs provide him with "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" in their vetting of judicial candidates? This publication shall be forwarding our concerns to Governor DeSantis' office - expressing our belief that a judicial career should not be secured within a probable violation of judicial ethics. In 2013, Circuit Judge Jessica Recksielder interviewed with the JNC for the 5th District Court of Appeal. During this interview, Recksielder presented false information to the JNC regarding her traffic ticket history. The 5th DCA JNC did NOT forward Recksielder's name to the governor for a possible appointment to the District Court of Appeal - rather they submitted her misconduct to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission. In 2015, the Florida Supreme Court took disciplinary action against Recksielder. We shall soon find out if Governor DeSantis has a desire to be advised of the "whole truth" - because if he doesn't - then we submit for consideration, that the entire JNC process is nothing more than a "dog and pony show" - played out for the benefit of the public - in order to provide citizens with a false sense of credibility to the judicial selection process. In the future, should Hutcheson wish to submit an accurate and honest judicial application - we would support her consideration for a judicial appointment. But NOT until then ! Should our readers wish to express their thoughts to the governor, please feel free to do so at this email link (ryan.newman@eog.myflorida.com) Stand by to stand by ..... we shall post the governor's appointments once he makes them. |
