Did a school employee engage in approximately 100 sexual encounters with an under age student?
Are the concerns that other victims exist valid?
How could this type of activity go on undetected for so long?
Was Sheriff Johnson's decision to cut School Resource Officers a wise choice?
Why did a VCSO deputy have to modify his incident report - did he really make an honest mistake - or is it something else?

Seabreeze High School Administrative Assistant arrested for allegedly having sex with an under age student Accounts suggest approximately 100 sexually encounters, many transpiring on the school's campus. Volusia County appears to have it's own version of the Penn State Sex Scandal.
According to the below attached media articles, a Seabreeze High School employee has been arrested for having sex with an under age student. We invite you to review the below video articles prepared by WESH and WFTV - we found them to be very informative.
We would suggest that as you watch these media accounts, be asking yourself a few important questions.
How did this go on for so long without being detected?
Are there other yet unknown victims? And if so, how many?
In addition, VolusiaExposed.Com has secured, for your review, the Ormond Beach PD's arrest report filed on Mr. Mike Jones, as well as the incident report filed by School Resource Deputy Jerry Sasser.
Does Mike Jones have other unidentified victims? The highlighted area of the above attached Ormond Beach PD report, appears to indicate, the possibility that Mike Jones has other victims - is this being investigated?
Within the above linked Ormond Beach PD arrest report - the following was documented.
"W-1 stated that she was aware of rumors around the school that the defendant "be-friended" other female students and the victim confirmed to her that there may be other girls that the defendant was involved with."
VolusiaExposed.Com has been advised by several confidential sources - that it was well known within the Seabreeze High School community (students, teachers and administrators), that Mike Jones was having inappropriate contact with several female students, and that such activities had been on going for years.
Therefore, VolusiaExposed can verify the existence of a "rumor", as documented within the OBPD's arrest report. However, we can not at this time, validate the veracity of it (rumor). Hopefully, our law enforcement officials are busy investigating that particular rumor.
Why did VCSO Deputy Jerry Sasser amend his original incident report, regarding Principal Robert Wallace's statements? Does this pass the "smell test"? Could Deputy Sasser really have mis-interpreted Principal Wallace's statement to such a large degree?
On October 12, 2012 - Volusia County Deputy and School Resource Officer, Jerry Sasser filed his report, in which, he stated the following. (We invite you to review the highlighted areas of the attached report - in PDF format)
"Deputy Sasser returned to Wallace's office where Wallace advised Deputy Sasser that he has had his suspicions reference Jones' relationship with XXXX for a couple of years now. He also stated that he has counselled Jones on his relationship with XXXX in the past due to rumors surfacing about Jones and XXXX."
However, five days later - 10/17/12 - Deputy Sasser filed an addendum to his original report, in which, he modifies his above statement, to the below statement.
"Deputy Sasser made a mistake in the original report that was taken on 10/12/12. Deputy Sasser was advised by Wallace (R1) that he had counseled Jones (o1), prior to this incident, reference to rumors of Jones being unprofessional with students "in general". It was being reported to Wallace that Jones would allow students to refer to him by his first name and Wallace advised Jones, as he did the entire Seabreeze staff, to remember to be professional and always be mindful of this when communicating with the student body. At no time did Wallace counsel Jones in reference to Jones' relationship with XXXX(O2). Deputy Sasser misunderstood the original conversation that took place between himself and Wallace." (Last page of Deputy Sasser's report)
VolusiaExposed.Com suspects that by October 17, 2012 - the Volusia County School Board's Professional Standards section was heavily into their investigation of Mr. Jones. An obvious question from the Office of Professional Standards would have been - How could Principle Wallace have counselled Jones on his relationship with XXXX, and then, continued to maintain years of suspicions, without taking further action?
Could this potentially embarrassing, and liability attached revelation, have been the catalyst for Deputy Sasser's modified report?
Is this just ANOTHER example of the VCSO manipulating criminal investigations to reduce civil liabilities to government agencies?
Did Sheriff Johnson's elimination of 14 School Resource Officers / Deputies have a direct or indirect causational effect on the Seabreeze sex scandal? Did Sheriff Johnson's hard choices of reducing the School Resource Officer Program invite this tragedy?
Recently, (October 18, 2012) - Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson and Sheriff Candidate Wendell Bradford engaged in a debate regarding the issues attached to the VCSO and the pending election for sheriff.
VolusiaExposed.Com attended the debate, as well as a representative from the Daytona Beach News Journal.
VolusiaExposed videotaped the debate - the above video segments details Sheriff Johnson's position in his decision to reduce the funding of the School Resource Officer Program. We invite you to review those short videos.
Also, we have included above, a video segment, whereas a taxpayer questioned Johnson on the need of having TWO rather costly tank vehicles. We believe you will be interested in hearing Sheriff Johnson's rationale for having two such vehicles.
In the above mentioned videos, Sheriff Johnson correctly states that as the sheriff of Volusia County, he must make hard choices. We just hope that Sheriff Johnson can appreciate, that the citizens, he has been charged with protecting, have similar hard choices to make. Sometimes, we (taxpayers) just want a sheriff that can keep our children safe, more than we desire a sheriff that wishes to re-invade the beaches of Normandy, France.
VolusiaExposed will continue to monitor this developing situation.
Three things that Sheriff Johnson and U.S. General George Patton share in common
Their appreciation of tanks, their temper, and their mistrust of the media.
Sheriff Ben Johnson's opinion of why a Daytona Beach News Journal reporter attended a political debate.
Sheriff Johnson claiming that he is being politically ambushed
While VolusiaExposed, obviously has many concerns on the current administration of the Volusia County Sheriff Department, like General Patton, we do respect Sheriff Johnson's devotion to his beliefs, positions and his service.
