FLORIDA's 18TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT SUFFERS YET ANOTHER ROGUE JUDGE State Judicial Qualification Commission (JQC) Recommends A Public Reprimand Of Seminole County Judge Jerri Collins |

According to JQC documents (see scroll box - right of page), and as supported by the courtroom video - last July (2015) Judge Collins was both "aggressive and discourteous" in her treatment of a victim of domestic violence. The JQC documents also allege that Judge Collins denied the victim her rights, to include her right to legal counsel, prior to sentencing her to three days in the county jail under a contempt of court charge. Apparently - on that summer day - the only one in contempt of the court - ironically was the court itself. |

Judge Collins' misconduct was far more than merely being rude to a domestic violence victim. In our opinion, in similiar fashion to the Judge Murphy incident - Judge Collins denied a citizen her rights to Constitutional due process, thus causing a deprivation of the citizen's freedom. (We acknowledge that there is a viewpoint that the victim's rights were not violated - we do not share in that viewpoint - please form your own opinion) Sorry - but it's our (VolusiaExposed.Com) STRONG opinion that any judge that wantonly denies a citizen's right to due process of the law - doesn't deserve to wear judicial robes. According to the JQC documents - the domestic violence victim told the national television audience of the "Today" show - that given her experience with Judge Collins - she is doubtful that she would ever report domestic violence again. So the question is really this - can we (Central Florida) even hope to redeem ourselves from the national shame of Judge Collins' misconduct - while she still sits on a judicial bench? While the Judicial Qualifications Commission is to be congratulated on their decision to recommend disciplinary action against Judge Collins - it is our (VolusiaExposed.Com) opinion - that Judge Collins' misconduct is merely a snapshot of the corruption that has a stranglehold on the neck of the Central Florida judicial system. Interested in hearing more about this stranglehold - then read some of our other articles. May we suggest starting with this previous article ---> In The Defense Of Dana Delaney Loyd - Part 5 VolusiaExposed.Com has received information of other alleged judicial transgressions within the Eighteen Judicial Circuit. We are currently reviewing (vetting) these allegations - so stand-by to stand-by - and over and out for now. |
