Court Reduces News Reporter, Dana Delaney Loyd's Probation

VolusiaExposed.Com attended and video recorded, news reporter Dana Delaney Loyd's recent (12-19-2019) probation reduction hearing in Viera, Florida (see attached video -->).

Mrs. Loyd's probation was reduced by eighteen (18) months, and several of her conditions of probation were immediately lifted. (see hearing video)

Also, Loyd has recently filed a post conviction appeal motion with the Court.

Loyd was convicted in March 2017 of making a false call to the Florida Abuse Hotline.

This media organization has published over forty (40) articles in the defense of Mrs. Loyd.

This publication is of the OPINION, that Loyd's trial equated to a kangaroo trial - that had little to do with her alleged crime of making a false call to the abuse hotline. We suspect, that like this most recent probation hearing, it (the prosecution of Loyd) had more to do with several branches of the Brevard criminal justice system attempting to silence both Loyd, and a mother of a child, after the child reported sexual abuse to out of state law enforcement officials.

Loyd, and the mother of the child have been very vocal and critical of local Brevard officials' handling of these sexual abuse allegations. Now, both Loyd and the child's mother suffer from the backlash of a local criminal justice system attempting to cover-up it's failures in properly investigating these serious allegations (OUR OPINION*).

* VolusiaExposed.Com has no opinion regarding the veracity of the sexual abuse allegations. However, we do express our OPINION that Brevard County officials (Brevard County Sheriff's Office) failed to properly investigate those allegations.
