Recently, the Volusia County's attorney filed a motion to split the civil trials of officers involved in underage sex scandal within the Volusia County Beach Patrol.
Volusia County maintains that they knew nothing of the sex scandal - and took appropriate action when it came to light.
VolusiaExposed.Com is left wondering how the county ever expected to know that their officer(s) were engaging in underage sex - if the VCBP Deputy Chief was apparently more interested in downloading nearly 12,000 porn photos on his departmental computer, then he was in supervsing his law enforcment officers?
For some time now, VolusiaExposed.Com has questioned whether several Volusia County jail death investigations have been improperly influenced by a conflict of interest between Volusia County Assistant Attorney Nancye Jones and her spouse Major Robert Jones. We are left wondering whether this apparent conflict of interest also improperly influenced the handling of Beach Patrol situation.
Recently, a local media outlet ran an article detailing the retirement of VCSO Captain White. Captain White was a subordinate to VCSO Major Robert Jones. Major Jones oversees the criminal investigations of the VCSO. Interesting - Captain White has two sons (Bryon and Kyle) that are employed by the Volusia County Beach Patrol (see below linked media article). Surely, if these sex allegations were fairly well known within the ranks of the VCBP - then we must question how these rumors of underage sex violations did not reach the ears of Captain White, then Major Jones and finally to the ears of Assistant County Attorney Nancye Jones. For us - it is just difficult to believe that these rumors (allegations) of sexual criminal behavior and cover up did not reach the ears of high ranking members of the Volusia County government. What do you think?
Lastly, VolusiaExposed.Com finds it interesting that Volusia County officials desire to have the judge order one of the alleged victims, of the Beach Patrol's underage sex scandal, to under go a psychiatric evaluation. This reminds us of the VCSO Deputy Willard situation.
In January 2011, a female arrestee accused VCSO Deputy Carl Willard of taking her to a remote site and engaging her with sexual advances. When VCSO investigators (under the command of Major Robert Jones) questioned the female arrestee, they too questioned whether she suffered from a psychiatric condition. We invite you to read the VCSO interview with the alleged victim, whereas they ask her such questions of whether she "saw boogey men"
Ironically, soon after, Deputy Willard committed suicide - maybe the VCSO should have been more concerned with whether Deputy Willard saw boogey men - then whether the alleged victim saw them?
