Can Affluential Defendants Secure A Special Tier Of Justice? East Central Florida's Two Tiered Criminal Justice System |
November 26, 2024 |
Are Affluential Defendants Provided A Special Golden Tier Of Justice? "I pledge allegiance to the Flag, ........... with liberty and justice for all (that can afford it)". Recently, this publication published an OPEN LETTER (click here to read) in which we delved into several past and presently on-going criminal prosecutions within Florida's Seventh Judicial Circuit (Volusia, Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns counties). The primary purpose of this aforementioned OPEN LETTER was to exposed our belief that several criminal justice practitioners (sheriff, state attorney, public defender, and the Court) conspired in a plot to deny a fourteen (14) year-old school girl, Nicole Jackson, her U.S. Constitutional rights to effective legal representation, and due process of the law (see the below linked article for additional information). In exposing how Ms. Jackson was railroaded through our local criminal justice system - we shall now present other criminal prosecutions that also raised our journalistic eyebrows.
In short, we present direct evidence that the Seventh Judicial Circuit engages in a two tiered system of justice - a special tier for the financially empowered and socially elite, and a much harsher tier of justice for the rest of the community. |
|
Within this particular article, we shall be presenting our journalistic opinion, that evidence exist, that affluential pedophiles can expect to be prosecuted under this "special golden tier" of justice. In order to accomplish a fair comparison "apples to apples" - we selected the criminal prosecutions of three Volusia County school teachers charged with engaging in sex with their underage student(s). |
According to a May 10, 2024 press release by the State Attorney's Office (SAO) (see right of page ==>) former Atlantic High School teacher Arin Hankerd was sentenced to twenty-one (21) years in prison - followed by thirty (30) years of sex offender probation - having been designated a sexual predator (additional significance shortly).
As posted within the below linked media release - Hankerd victimized two high school students - one while a teacher at Atlantic High School (2023), and a second student while teaching at Mainland High School (2019). May 10, 2024 Former Volusia County teacher sentenced to 21 years in prison for sexual relationships with students All three defendants (Hankerd, Peterson, and Parris) criminal prosecutions were forwarded by the Seventh Circuit's State Attorney's Office. RELATED ARTICLE Daytona Beach New-Journal December 19, 2018 NSB teacher Stephanie Peterson gets 3 years in prison for sex with student According to the above linked media article, and available Florida Department of Law Enforcement records (see right of page ==>), Ms. Peterson was sentenced to three (3) years in prison - followed by five (5) years of sex offender probation. She will be registered in a Florida State database as merely a "sexual offender" (not a sexual predator) for the rest of her life. (more on Ms. Peterson affluence shortly) RELATED ARTICLE Daytona Beach New-Journal October 26, 2021 Former NSB High School teacher sentenced to prison for having sex with student According to the above linked media article, Ms. Parris was sentenced to two and a half (2 1/2) years in prison - followed by ten (10) years of sex offender probation. She too, like Peterson, will only be registered as a "sexual offender" for the rest of her life. |
The Above State Attorney Press Release Is No Longer Available On Their Website Notice Hankerd's Designation As A "Sexual PREDATOR" Notice Peterson's Designation As ONLY A "Sexual OFFENDER" Notice Parris' Designation As ONLY A "Sexual OFFENDER" |
It is of interest, that during both Peterson's and Parris' sentencings (see above linked media articles), their mental health conditions were taken into consideration - thereby "justifying" their reduced sentences.
Please take note how Mr. Hankerd also suffers from mental illness (see below linked media report) - his mental health condition apparently did not assist him in mitigating his twenty-one (21) year sentence - did it? May 10, 2024 Former Volusia County teacher sentenced to 21 years in prison for sexual relationships with students Affluential Defendants vs. Everyone Else Why were Ms. Peterson's and Ms. Parris' mental health conditions relevant to their sentencings - but not so for Mr. Hankerd? Well, there is a hard truth to face - we submit for you consideration, Mr. Hankerd had no affluence, - therefore, Peterson, and by default Parris qualified for, and got - that "special tier" of justice, while Mr. Hankerd took his sentencing without the application of that "special tier's" justice. Regarding the criminal prosecutions of these three pedophile school teachers - some of our readers may wish to conclude that ONLY a gender bias exists, and not a two tiered justice system. Unfortunately, we must report that "chivalry", like the constitutional principle of equal justice are both foreign concepts within Florida's Seventh Judicial Circuit. The 2021-2023 criminal prosecution of Nicole Jackson, the earlier mentioned teen-aged school girl, provides clear evidence of this. In June 2021, Ms. Jackson was arrested along with her twelve (12) year-old male co-defendant, and both were charged with the attempted murders of Volusia sheriff deputies. Jackson was prosecuted as an adult, while the male co-defendant was prosecuted as a juvenile. Both children were wards of the State of Florida - residing at a local children's home - therefore, neither to our knowledge had any social or financial affluence. |
During a January 27, 2023 hearing - Assistant State Attorney Sarah Thomas filed a Motion In Limine - click here to read requesting the Court to restrict certain testimonies regarding Ms. Jackson.
We opine that the State was attempting to "restrict" testimony that included, but was not limited to, Jackson's past abusive treatment as a ward of the State of Florida, her mental health afflictions, the fact that her co-defendant was prosecuted as a juvenile, and how State actors (particular attention given to Sheriff Chitwood) lied about her, as she was being railroaded through the criminal justice system. HOWEVER, probably the most important FACT that ASA Thomas was attempting to hide from jurors, the public, and the media - was just how involved Sheriff Mike Chitwood was in the prosecutorial decision making in Ms. Jackson's prosecution. ASA Thomas had applied to the governor's office for a judicial appointment, and just eleven (11) days prior to Jackson's court hearing - Sheriff Chitwood had provided Thomas with a letter of endorsement for this gubernatorial appointment to the bench. (see right of page ==>>) |
Notice how this endorsement letter has it's foundation within the Jackson prosecution.
This publication forwards the OPINION - that there exists - at the very least, the appearance of a Quid Pro Quo agreement between Sheriff Chitwood and ASA Sarah Thomas - in short, she allows him a shadowed involvement in the Jackson prosecution - and he provides her the judicial endorsement. We have published several articles on how we believe Ms. Jackson was not only "railroaded" through the criminal justice system, but also how the Volusia County sheriff office failed to investigate whether she was sexually molested while in county custody (see the three (3) below linked related articles for additional information). All of the above would have come out during a trial - therefore, a trial had to be avoided - the child had to be coerced into accepting a plea deal - but on a level that satisfied Sheriff Chitwood's appetite for juvenile blood. Coercion of a child is an easy task to accomplish - especially in the darkness of a sealed courtroom and sealed court transcripts, having the judge, the child's attorneys, the prosecutor, and the sheriff all involved in the conspiracy to deny the child her constitutional rights (a public trial - see sixth amendment to the U.S. Constitution). |
Unlike convicted pedophile and former school teacher Ms. Peterson (more on this shortly) , AND international drug smuggler Colton Phillips (see below media articles regarding Mr. Phillips) - Ms. Jackson does not have a prominent father.
October 31, 2021 A Question of Trust Daytona Beach News-Journal October 28, 2021 A drug bust and a 'deal of a lifetime' in Volusia; will a strip club stop unravel it all? Available records support that Ms. Stephanie Peterson is related to prominent New Smyrna Beach attorney Philip Peterson. (we expect some of these web links to be removed by the law group) We suspect that Phillip is the father to Stephanie - but regardless, there is a familial connection between the two. According to Florida State Department of Corrections information, including the Florida Sexual Offender database - Stephanie Peterson lives in a house owned by Philip Peterson (verified with Volusia County records). As mentioned within the above media account - during her criminal prosecution, Stephanie Peterson was represented by New Smyrna Beach Attorney William Hathaway. The Peterson Law Group's website shows a Paula Hathaway in their employment - as a paralegal. (we expect some of these web links to be removed by the law group) Spencer Hathaway is employed as a ranking assistant state attorney within the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Social media records support that all three Hathaways (Spencer, Paula and William) are immediately related. Clerk of the Court records - indicate that recent (2024) modifications were requested, and approved by the Court, regarding Ms. Peterson's sex offender probation status (case # 2018-100606-CFDL). According to Court records, Ms. Peterson was represented by Attorney Laura Klossner of the Peterson Law Group (see below) (we expect some of these web links to be removed by the law group) The Hathaway family is a very prominent, and politically influential family within the City of New Smyrna Beach. We OPINE, that both families' (Peterson and Hathaway) prominence assisted Ms. Peterson in securing her rather sweet plea bargain - on similar charges, that put Mr. Hankerd in prison for over twenty years. We suspect that Ms. Parris was able to garner a similar plea bargain - given that her arrest and prosecution quickly followed Ms. Peterson's court proceedings. We allege no personal wrong doings by members of the Peterson and Hathaway families. Rather, we OPINE that government actors will and have provided prominent families with this special tier of justice, not available to the likes of a fourteen year-old school girl. and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." Over the years, this publication has been advised that many see us as merely "conspiracy theorists". HOWEVER, sometimes there is a factual conspiracy on-going - it's not merely a theory of a conspiracy, rather, there are facts to support the conspiracy's existence. Everyone here at VolusiaExposed.Com supports that Elvis and Michael Jackson are indeed dead - that man did actually land on the moon in July 1969. HOWEVER, in full disclosure, we do have one member of our staff that believes in the "Grassy Knoll Sniper" theory connected to the November 1963 Kennedy assassination. If that qualifies us as "conspiracy theorists" - then so be it.

We concur with Devin's family, along with an October 1, 2024 Daytona Beach News-Journal editorial- that "Devin Perkins deserved a speeding ticket; instead he was convicted of vehicular homicide".
In the early morning hours of December 11, 2022 - Devin Perkins was driving on SR-44 near DeLand, Florida. Passengers in his car were twenty-somethings Ali "Spice" Dulin, Kyle Moser, and Ava Fellerman. Unbeknownst to Perkins, traveling towards him - in the wrong lane, and with his headlights off, was intoxicated 55 year-old Thomas Petry. Perkins and Petry collided head on. Killed in the crash were Dulin, Moser and Fellerman - three young lives cut short - because Petry had to drive intoxicated. To the surprise of the Perkins, Dulin and Moser families - it was soon discovered, that prosecutors within the Seventh Judicial Circuit would be filing charges against BOTH Petry and Perkins, regarding the deaths of Perkins' friends. The Dulin and Moser families supported that only Petry should be held accountable for the deaths of their love ones - coming out against Perkins being charged with vehicular homicide. The Dulin family alleged that prosecutors threatened them with arrest because of their support of Perkins (see below linked media article). October 24, 2024 Ali Spice's parents: Prosecutors treated them like adversaries, threatened with arrest As supported by media accounts, the patriarch of the Fellerman family (Gregory Fellerman), a prominent Pennsylvania attorney, and former prosecutor - supported the criminal prosecutions of both Mr. Petry and Mr. Perkins regarding the death of his daughter. September 6, 2024 Trial set for drivers in crash that killed TikTok star Ali Spice and 2 others Greg Fellerman also spoke via Zoom and said his daughter, Ava Fellerman, “really is probably the most innocent” in the incident. Fellerman, who said he was a former prosecutor in Pennsylvania, said both Petry and Perkins need to be held accountable. “I think that the state is making the correct decision in prosecuting both of the defendants,” Fellerman said. ”Both of the defendants' conduct is reprehensible.” TimesLeader.Com December 14, 2022 Fellerman crash being investigated as homicide; suspect sought TimesLeader.Com April 7, 2023 Drivers charged in Florida crash that killed local attorney’s daughter Since Gregory Fellerman was a former Pennsylvania criminal prosecutor, and Sheriff Chitwood was a Philadelphia police lieutenant many years ago - could there be a professional connection between the two - maybe not a direct connection - but a connection within a few degrees of separation? The Florida Highway Patrol was the lead investigative agency in the Devin Perkins' (Fellerman) traffic homicide incident. HOWEVER, Sheriff Chitwood is the elected sheriff, and has been known to express his "opinion" on matters that may be slightly outside his lane of responsibility. It would not surprise this publication - if Sheriff Chitwood had a shadow involvement in the prosecution decision making in the Devin Perkins' case. Protecting A Retired Cop, Over Providing Justice To A Family Here is what we are comfortable to opine - the Volusia Sheriff's Office (VSO) is more than happy to provided "privileged" individuals with that "special tier" of justice, and Sheriff Chitwood has the "political influence" within the state attorney's office, and the Courts, to assure the processing of this "special tier" of justice. A prime example example of this, can be found within the April 2, 2023 traffic homicide of retired Pennsylvania school teacher Eileen Flaherty. While we refer to Ms. Flaherty's death as a "traffic homicide" - we can assure you that the Volusia Sheriff's Office (VSO) failed to honestly classify her death so. According to available media reports (see below web links) during the early afternoon hours of April 2, 2023, Ms. Eileen Flaherty 68, a retired Pennsylvania elementary school teacher, along with her brother Robert Flaherty 55, were walking Eileen's dog Holly down the sidewalk of a Deltona, Florida street. |
From behind, came a red BMW convertible, driven by retired New York Police Officer Ralph Aguilar - the car crossed the center-line, ran off the road, plowed down a traffic sign, as it entered on to the sidewalk striking Eileen, Robert and Holly.
Eileen's body was throw over fifty feet, she died before her body hit the pavement. The BMW continued on for a short distance, striking and pushing a 2,300 pound boulder a distance of fifteen (15) feet, before coming to a complete stop. Shortly after the "accident" - while Ms. Flaherty was still laying on the sidewalk - Ralph's brother Michael Aguilar, also a retired NYPD police officer arrived on scene (see below video) |
If you have any doubts that "special law enforcement favors" are given to prominent people - watch the video to the right - taken from the investigating deputy's body camera - of Michael Aquilar glad-handing the deputy that both him and his brother are former law enforcement officers - and that that he knows several ranking members of the VSO.
We invite you to read our below linked September 14, 2024 article in which additional details are available - on how the VSO covered up the traffic homicide of Ms. Flaherty. |
|
September 14, 2024 The Killing Of Ms. Eileen Flaherty Maybe it's just this simple - without any requests by either the Peterson or Fellerman families - members of our local state attorney office self-recognized the prominence of both families - and afforded them this secretive "second tiered" system of justice? HOWEVER, given how the death of Ms. Flaherty was handled by the VSO - there is little to no doubt, that the VSO will "take requests" from prominent people to provide them that "special tier" of justice. For some time now, this publication has been receiving updates of a on-going case out of New Smyrna Beach whereas acts of pedophilia / child abuse have been alleged. Further allegations are - that government officials, including the local police are either directly involved in the criminal acts - or involved in the attempted cover-up of the alleged acts. We have decided to allow these allegations to spin out a little more - prior to us reporting on them. Stand by to stand by - these is surely more to report on this. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me". German Pastor Martin Niemöller In preparation for this article - we contacted several of the principles via email (click here to read email) and provided them with an opportunity to respond with corrections, clarifications, comments and criticisms.
