On July 11, 2025 - VolusiaExposed.Com attended (ZOOM), and video recorded the vetting & interview processes of .

The JNC was tasked with interviewing and vetting sixteen (16) judicial candidates (see right of page =>) to fill two (2) open judicial positions, one being a St. Johns County court seat, the other a circuit wide seat (Volusia, Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns).

Upon the completion of the vetting, interview, and deliberation processes - the JNC forwarded nine (9) judicial nominees names to Governor Ron DeSantis for his consideration in making the two judicial appointments.

This publication has provided within this article - the video interviews and written applications of the nine (9) judicial nominees forwarded to the governor (see bottom of page).

This publication did express a concern regarding Robin Hutcheson's application to the JNC.

Hutcheson was not forwarded by the JNC to the governor's office - for an appointment consideration.

All of the nominees selected by the JNC appear to be qualified for a judicial appointment.

In OUR OPINION Candidates Payne and Phillips interviews were of particular positive interest.
