Judicial nominating commission forwards six nominees for Brevard County Court vacancy

Florida’s 18th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission has forwarded six nominees to the governor for an opening on the Brevard County Court following interviews with fourteen applicants on September 23.

The vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge Benjamin Garagozlo. Under Florida’s judicial selection process, the governor will choose the next Brevard County judge from the commission’s list of nominees.
