Recently, VolusiaExposed attended the public tour of the new VCSO District 3 substation. The VCSO moved the substation location from 3rd Street and Nova Road in Holly Hill, to it's new location in North Ormond Beach right off of U.S. 1. We were escorted by Investigator Lance Lamee, who acted as our tour guide throughout the facility. Sheriff Johnson also caught up with us during our tour and gave us some history about the VCSO. The new facility gives the VCSO the room they need to grow into the future and also allows them to better respond to local special events.  |
