According to a recently obtained Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) internal affairs report, several allegations of official misconduct have been sustained against Deputy Julio Oscar Rodriguez. Earlier this year (2019), while Deputy Rodriguez was the assigned school resource deputy at Heritage Middle School (Deltona, Florida), VCSO officials received several complaints from school officials, students and parents, referencing their concerns regarding Deputy Rodriguez's perceived acts of misconduct. The IA report allege that one student's father, questioned Deputy Rodriguez on whether he was a pedophile. VolusiaExposed.Com requested, and was provided, and now provides to our readers, a copy of the VCSO internal affairs report. We will leave it to our readers to review the internal report, in order to gain a full appreciation of the misconduct that was alleged against Deputy Rodriguez, much of which was sustained. According to the internal investigation, Deputy Rodriguez submitted his resignation in September 2019, and while under investigation. The investigative findings are consistent with several violations of Florida Officer Moral Character Standards.
