"All the rights secured to the citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous Judiciary." ~ Andrew Jackson
On February 15, 2019 VolusiaExposed.Com attended and video recorded the Investiture Of The Honorable Linda L. Gaustad.

Last November, Judge Gaustad soundly defeated a challenge by Assistant State Attorney J. Ryan Will for the judicial seat opened by Circuit Judge J. Michael Traynor's retirement.

As was reported by the Daytona Beach News Journal - Gaustad's victory over Will was impressive given Will's judicial pedigree - being the son of retired Circuit Judge Joseph G. Will.

Gaustad defeated Will by receiving 59 percent of the votes cast.

Gaustad’s victory is even more impressive considering that her campaign collected a mere $30,421 to Will’s $86,503 war chest.

We (VolusiaExposed.Com) wish Judge Gaustad all the best as she assumes her judicial duties - as we predict that she will be a breath of fresh air within the Seventh Judicial Circuit.

We look forward to your comments on this situation.
