The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves."

The Daytona Beach News-Journal Is On Target

Recently the Daytona Beach News Journal published both an article, and an editorial, on the manner and intent of local Circuit Judge Joseph Will's pending resignation from the bench.

According to Judge Will's resignation letter to the governor, as well as an email from Will to his judicial peers, Judge Will has submitted his resignation in a manner that will ensure that his successor is selected by gubernatorial appointment, rather than, by a majority vote of the local electorate.

We agree with the News-Journal, that the voters should be crying foul over Judge Will's self professed manipulation of the resignation process - with the goal of ensuring a gubernatorial appointment. However, we (VolusiaExposed.Com) expand on this opinion - by suggesting that Judge Will and the governor's office have colluded, in a scheme, to disenfranchise the right of the electorate to choose their judges through a democratic election process.

It's a shame that Judge Will has such little faith in the electorate's overall ability to choose appropriate judges - since he (Judge Will) depends on this same electorate for jurors in his court room.

Florida's Judicial Nominating Commissions
The Dog & Pony Shows
Of Judicial Appointments

Florida has twenty six (26) JNC Commissions around the state - that, when necessary, make judicial nominations to the governor's office - allowing the governor to appoint judges to our judiciary.

For several years now, VolusiaExposed.Com has been attending and covering the Seventh Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) meetings.

Recently, VolusiaExposed.Com have started to cover the JNC meetings of the Eighteen Judicial Circuit's JNC (Brevard and Seminole Counties).

Is There A Stench Of Corruption
Coming From Our Local Courthouses?

For sometime now, we (VolusiaExposed) have expressed our concerns that the JNC selection process was being manipulated, in order to disenfranchise the citizens of the State of Florida, from their right to select and elect their own judges.

Want to know more about the corruption attached to the JNC process - then read our December 2015 article titled "The Fix Is In".

Oh - and - don't forget - 2016 is an election year - make sure you get out and vote - while it's still legal to do so.
