Judicial Conflicts Of Interest Does Circuit Court Judge Margaret W. Hudson Suffer From This Dilemma? Is This How The Volusia County Justice System Operates? |

Is It A Judicial System That Even Judge Roy Bean Would Be Proud Of? "Homicide is the killing of a human being; however, he could find no law against killing a Chinaman" ~ Judge Roy Bean
Recently, VolusiaExposed posted an article that questioned whether Circuit Judge Margaret W. Hudson should recuse herself in the Luis Toldeo murder prosecution.
Within our earlier article we presented evidence that supports that Dave Hudson is the spouse of Judge Hudson. Dave Hudson is currently a local private investigator that retired in 2005 as the Commander of Investigative Services within the Volusia County Sheriff Department. Further, FDLE and VCSO records indicate that Dave Hudson maintains a part-time deputy status within the sheriff department. Luis Toledo was arrested and charged with murder by the Volusia County Sheriff Department. Media accounts support that the Luis Toledo prosecution will be a very complicated case, involving several legal potholes, that must be traversed by both the VCSO and State Attorney's Office. Obviously, the Luis Toledo prosecution is a high profile case, with probable political ramifications. Anyone that doubts, for a minute, that these kind of murder prosecutions don't have political ramifications - need only to research the political ramifications attached to the Casey Anthony murder prosecution out of Orange County. Judges, prosecutors, sheriffs and public defenders are ALL politicians - and politicians have one primary goal - to get re-elected. It's been our experience that the concepts of fair play, due process and the administration of justice comes in a distant second to their (politicians) primary goal of staying in office. But that's just our opinion - maybe yours is different - isn't America grand? |
