The Body Cam Video As detailed within a recent Daytona Beach News-Journal article, DeLand PD has terminated two of their police officers for filing false reports. As further detailed within the DeLand PD internal affairs report, Officer Austin Lefleur and Leslie Goins written reports did not jive with the video captured on their police body cameras. Both the DBNJ and the IA report provide excellent coverage of the particular facts surrounding Mr. Joseph Staph's (30) January 20, 2019 arrest - therefore, you have what you need to form your own opinion on this situation, without any additional commentary from this publication. Based on the DeLand PD internal investigative findings, we shall be adding both Officer Lefleur and Officer Goins to our list of Brady Cops. |
