25 Years For Child-Molestation. VolusiaExposed.Com has recently been advised that the Volusia County Sheriff Department is currently (July 29, 2014) investigating a possible suicide attempt within the Volusia County jail. Media and court records indicate that Chad Spears, 33 - was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison for child-molestation. VCSO records indicate that jail staff found Spears in medical distress and eventually took him to the hospital. After reviewing the contents of his cell - jail staff found a suspected suicide note.
