Florida Bar Finds
Probable Cause

Recently, this publication received a document that appears to be a Florida Bar finding of probable cause - in support of misconduct allegations filed against a Brevard County prosecutor. --->

Apparently, the Florida Bar has concerns that Assistant State Attorney Bryon Aven may have not honored his oath to Florida Bar principles.

Showing His True Colors

Florida 18th Circuit's ASA Bryon Aven has a rather colorful history of misconduct allegations.

Aven's latest allegation came out last April (2022) during the trial of Mr. Robert Cason - while being prosecuted for aggravated battery.

As described in our below linked article - the trial judge became aware that the prosecutor's witnesses were knowingly presenting a false narrative against Mr. Cason - with the apparent knowledge of Mr. Aven.

That's Just The Tip Of The Corruption Iceberg

The trial judge dismissed the charges against Mr. Cason - and advised Mr. Aven and his supervisor of his concern that Mr. Aven had engaged in prosecutorial misconduct. (courtroom video records are available within above web link)

According to a May 5, 2022 media release by the State Attorney's Office (SAO) (see below right) - Mr. Aven was removed from any trial docket responsibilites - and transferred to other duties pending a review by the SAO.

It would appear that the Florida Bar is continuing with their disciplinary case against Mr. Aven.

Previous Disciplinary Action

In 2021 - Mr. Aven received a public reprimand from the Florida Supreme Court regarding a 2019 complaint filed against him.

According to available records (see above web links), in 2018 - Mr. Aven ran for a Marion County Court seat - running against incumbent Judge Robert E. Landt.

During this political campaign - Mr. Aven attempted to impugn Judge Landt’s integrity by implying that Landt had granted far too many motions to suppress evidence - thereby implying - that Landt was not looking out for the best interest of law enforcement officers.

Aven repeatedly gave the impression that if he was elected - his judicial bias would favor state prosecutors and law enforcement.

Nearly A Year Later
Still Assigned To Other Duties

Since the Cason complaint - and as per the 18th SAO's May 2022 media release (-->), as well as a recent email from the SAO to VolusiaExposed.Com - Mr. Aven is still assigned to other duties - with this allegation remaining unresolved.

The Epidemic Of Lying Within
Central Florida Law Enforcement

This recent misconduct allegation against Mr. Aven is only the newest symptom of an epidemic that has infected the overall credibility of Central Florida's law enforcement community.

And - last - but not least - the apparent lie being concocted - by several members of the local "justice system" in order to justify the violation of probation warrant on Mr. Anthony Scarsella. Watch and listen to Judge Charlie Crawford become upset with Mr. Scarsella when he states that the assistant state attorney is lying see courtroom video -->. The Scarsella matter is a developing situation that we anticipate may need some "exposing" in the near future.
