"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." - John Adams
In August 2015 - three agents from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office arrived at the home of John Derossett.
Their alleged BCSO mission was to secure the arrest of Derossett's adult niece, Mary Ellis - street handle - "Cougar".
Mary "Cougar" Ellis was to be arrested for arranging to have sex with a BCSO agent over the website - Backpage.com.
Many - to include this publication - have questioned whether the real reason for the BCSO raid on the Derossett home was to secure "Cougar's" little black book - in order to avoid a homespun and knock off version of the Ashley Madison scandal.

The Little Black Book?

In August 2015 - the whole AshleyMadison.Com hacking scandal was on-going - which caused numerous influential men across the country to be exposed as men willing to cheat on their spouses.
Locally, Orange County State Attorney Jeff Ashton got caught up and exposed in the hacking scandal.
As many Central Floridians will remember, the arrest of Mary Ellis did not go down easy.
As detailed within our September 18, 2018 article while sheriff agents were attempting to take Ellis into custody directly inside the front door of the Derossett home - Ellis' uncle - John Derossett responded to his niece's cries for help. Derossett emerged from a back room of the house with a handgun - causing the agents to flee the home.
Immediately thereafter, Derossett fired what has been described by the Court - as a warning shot - causing the agents to open fire at Derossett - which led to Derossett and a BCSO agent both receiving gun shot wounds.
Mr. Derossett has denied knowing that the men that had invaded his home were sheriff deputies. Reports indicate that the deputies were dressed primarily in civilian clothing - and the lighting conditions were poor. The BCSO agent nearly died from his gun shot wound.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement could not determine if the bullet that nearly killed the agent came from Mr. Derossett's gun - or from one of agent's guns.
Recently, Circuit Judge Robin Lemonidis denied Mr. Derossett a "Stand My Ground" defense - due to Mr. Derossett firing his warning shot.

Any Influential Names?
This publication holds the OPINION that a recent data dump from government officials has provided us with "Cougar's" little black book.
We are currently reviewing this data dump for any influential names within Cougar's apparent contacts.
The November 13, 2014 entry in a daily planner (see right of page) is of interest to this publication. We have suspicions that this contact may be an influential name with high military and BCSO connections.
