On August 28th, 2024, U.S. military combat veteran Kathleen Edwards' nightmare through the nefarious Brevard criminal justice system finally came to an end (MAYBE, HOPEFULLY - but read on).

Kathleen's nightmare began on December 10, 2018 when her U.S. combat veteran husband, Gregory Edwards, was arrested by the West Melbourne Police Department (WMPD), and delivered to the custody of the Brevard County jail.

Like most county jails within Florida, the Brevard County jail is run by the Sheriff's office.

Mr. Edward's would soon die under suspicious circumstances while in the jail's custody.

A veteran died in a Florida jail. Two years later, video shows he was tased, left convulsing in a cell.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne "Lying"* Ivey initially refused to produce the jail surveillance videos surrounding Edwards' treatment and care while in custody.

*This publication refers to Sheriff Ivey as "Lying" Ivey - because he, and apparently Florida's Courts share the legal OPINION that Florida sheriffs have "absolute immunity" over comments made in the course of their official duties — "however false, malicious, or badly motivated the words may be".

In as far as the jail surveillance videos, the local Brevard County newspaper, Floridatoday.Com sued Sheriff Ivey for access to the videos via a Florida Public Records Request (see Florida Statutes Chapter 119)

In response to the newspaper's lawsuit, Sheriff Ivey finally publicly released the surveillance videos. (see below related media articles - to review surveillance videos)

We (VolusiaExposed.Com) shall leave it to each of our individual readers, to determine for themselves whether Mr. Edwards was properly treated by both security and medical staff of the Brevard County jail. We had "opined" that security staff applied excessive force, and the medical staff failed to immediately address Edwards' medical needs.

The Edwards family filed a lawsuit against the BCSO regarding the events surrounding Mr. Edwards' in-custody death. In March 2023, a Federal judge dismissed the lawsuit. (see below related media article)

While Mr. Edwards was dying in custody, his spouse Kathleen was pregnant with their son, Gregory Edwards Jr.. Their child would be born shortly after Edwards' funeral.

Sadly, on June 27, 2020 - the infant Edwards, then eighteen (18) months old would die in an accidental pool drowning.

How do we know it was an "accidental drowning" - well because the medical examiner determined it to be (see below link to ME's report reference).

HOWEVER, the Medical Examiner's determination that the child's death was "accidental" did not keep Sheriff "Lying" Ivey from seeking his revenge against Kathleen. With the assistance of local State Attorney Phil Archer, Kathleen was criminally charged with the manslaughter of her child.

POLITICAL PROSECUTIONS OVER HONEST POLICING, A RECKONING APPROACHES BREVARD COUNTY

Last month, the State Attorney and Edwards entered into a plea deal. The State dropped the felony manslaughter charge down to a misdemeanor charge of "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" (See video - above right).

Judge Charlie Crawford accepted the plea - sentencing Edwards to twelve (12) months of probation, with adjudication being withheld. ==>>

Gangster Baby

The obvious question is - can an 18 month old baby be a delinquent?

If that answer is "no" - then how could Kathleen have contributed to the delinquency of her child?

Our final observation, is that the plea deal obviously and incorrectly references the section of the statute (827.04.3 - see right of page =>) dealing

Florida State Statute Screw-up
with "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" - by an adult who impregnates a minor (see above - yellow highlighted). Can a mother impregnate her infant son? The stupidity and vindictiveness of the Eighteen Judicial "Circus" has no bounds.
STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES !!

....stand by to stand by .... there is surely more entertainment to come from this "Circus"...............
