VolusiaExposed.Com received word that on October 29, 2019 - Port Orange Police Chief Thomas Grimaldi was pulled over by one of his own officers for speeding (65 MPH in a 45 MPH zone).

Apparently, he was driving his city assigned vehicle.

We are pleased to report that Chief Grimaldi quickly took the high road, admitting that it was his fault, and requesting that the officer issue him a ticket.

This publication requested that police body cam video directly from Chief Grimaldi, and he quickly provided it.

We are not sure, if a patrol officer would have been disciplined for speeding - and we are not aware, whether Chief Grimaldi was given any disciplinary action.

Slow down chief...that is all....surely there will be no more to this....
