VolusiaExposed.Com has received word the Seventh Judicial Circuit* Chief Judge Raul A. Zambrano has relieved Circuit Judge Scott Dupont of his post pending a final determination by the Florida Supreme Court of whether Judge Dupont will be removed from the bench. (Seventh Judicial Circuit equates to Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns & Volusia Counties) Please take note of Judge Zambrano's February 23, 2018 letter. (a special thanks goes out to one of our many readers from within the local criminal justice community for providing us with a copy of this letter) ----> Judge Zambrano's precautions are in response to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission's (JQC) recently completed investigation tasked with determining whether Judge Dupont had violated any judicial ethics canons - mainly centering on the handling of his election campaign. |
