On August 28, 2019, VolusiaExposed.Com attended, and video recorded, the vetting / interview process of Florida's 7th Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC).

The 7th JNC interviewed 24 qualified candidates in order to fill a position newly created by the Florida Legislature.

VolusiaExposed wishes to extend our thanks to all of the 7th JNC members , they were all very professional and approachable.

The JNC narrowed the list of judicial candidates to six (6) qualified judicial nominees. These nominees' names will be forwarded to Governor DeSantis for his final selection and appointment. (see right of web page) --->

Based on what was heard, and what was discussed during the interview process, all of the nominees are qualified to serve as Flagler's newest county court judge. We invite our readers to review the video interviews of the nominees, as well as the nominees' redacted applications (see below videos).

Disturbing Comment Made By Assistant State Attorney J. Ryan Will

Assistant State Attorney (ASA) J. Ryan Will interviewed with the JNC for this judicial position.

During the 2018 election cycle, ASA J. Ryan Will ran a political campaign seeking to secure an open judicial seat. His election bid failed when he was overwhelmingly defeated by Linda Gaustad.

During their interview of Mr. Will, the JNC Commission questioned him on whether he had an explanation regarding why his election bid was not successful. Mr. Will responded with an obvious sexist reference, indicating, that his loss was connected to the fact, that his two opponents were women. Mr. Will gave no sway, or mention, that his loss may have been a result of his 2015 disciplinary action by the Florida Bar.

The above only provides further support to this publication's October & November 2018 editorials, that Mr. Will does not possess the ethics, nor the temperament, to occupy a judicial seat.
