As outlined in a recent media release - Governor Ron Desantis has appointed Florida Third DCA Judge Barbara Lagoa to the Florida Supreme Court.

According to the Third DCA's website - Judge Lagoa had just recently (January 1, 2019) been selected as the DCA's chief judge.
