As was reported within a July 26, 2019 Daytona Beach News Journal (DBNJ) article, the DeLand police department (DPD) has rehired terminated Police Officer, Mike Mirino under a "Last Chance Agreement". Officer Mirino's employment with the DPD was terminated in 2017 in response to several other disciplinary incidents, including his most recent incident involving missing illegal drug evidence. And there you have it ... stand by to stand by ... there may, OR may not be more to report on this ..... that will surely be up to Officer Mirino. We look forward to your comments on this situation.
