Thanks to an anonymous source - VolusiaExposed.Com received a tip that during the earlier morning hours on June 13, 2017 Daytona Beach Police Officer Rachel Ditton was running late for work.

Another Daytona Beach officer was running traffic control on A1A and observed a speeding car - he actived his lights and pulled the car over. To his suprise it was Ofc. Rachel Ditton - in full police uniform.

Listen to Ofc. Ditton tell the officer that she needed to get to work - and that he needed to start reading his tags - prior to pulling people over.

So what's up with that - if an officer "reads his / her tags first" and realizes it's a fellow officer - then there should not be a pull over?

Watch as Officer Ditton doesn't even ask if she is free to go - she just hits the gas - spins her wheels and takes off.

I wonder - the next time I get pulled over - can I do the same - OR should I just prepare myself to present my driver's license, registration and proof of insurance?

Well, at least when Sheriff Chitwood was caught speeding - he insisted on being ticketed - albeit after the fact.

We (VolusiaExposed) have reached out to DBPD and asked whether they were taking any corrective action against Officer Ditton - as of the posting of this article - we had not heard back. Stand by to stand by - there is surely more to come of this....
