Volusia Jail Opens Internal Affairs Investigation Allegations That Correctional Sgt. Was Engaging Prostitutes |
December 5, 2016 |
Recently secured internal documents from the Volusia County Jail (see right of page) supports that in mid October of this year (2016) - the jail opened an internal investigation into whether one of their correctional sergeants was engaging the services of prostitutes. This investigation was initially started based on rumors within the female inmate population that Sgt. Willie Jenkins was arranging meetings with local prostitutes via Internet sites. It is interesting to us (VolusiaExposed.Com) that according to the attached reports - that jail staff initially attempted to intimidate the inmates from reporting their knowledge of Sgt. Jenkins' alleged criminal activities - by threatening the inmate(s) with jail disciplinary action. (see pages 6,7,8 - right of page -->) Of further interest - is the jail's documented refusal to answer our (VolusiaExposed.Com) questions regarding the Sgt. Jenkins' incident. So much for the jail being able to claim the high ground of being transparent to the very public that they serve. As of the publication of this article - VolusiaExposed.Com has not yet received the completed internal affairs investigations for November 2016. We anticipate the likelihood that more will be available regarding the Sgt. Jenkins' investigation once the jail releases the official internal affairs investigative report. |
