Volusia County Corrections Officer Charged With Retail Theft Reassigned To Animal Services County Officials Provide Only A Vague Rationale For The Reassignment |
December 20, 2018 |
In September 2018 - this publication reported on the arrest of Volusia County Correctional Officer, Jennifer Raulerson. Records indicate that Officer Raulerson was charged with retail petit theft out of Orange City, Florida. VolusiaExposed.Com has obtained a copy of the charging report - and has included the report within this article, thereby providing our readers with the charging details filed against Ofc. Raulerson. As with any criminal defendant - Ofc. Raulerson is presumed innocent - until proven guilty in a court of law. Court records indicate, that Ofc. Raulerson has a pending criminal trial currently scheduled for the first week of next month (January 2019). Initially, Volusia County officials placed Officer Raulerson on administrative leave pending the outcome of her criminal case. However, recently this publication was advised by an anonymous source - that the county had reassigned Officer Raulerson to Animal Services within the Volusia County Department Of Public Protection. Upon contacting the county - they confirmed Officer Raulerson's reassignment - providing only a vague rationale for her reassignment. Maybe, just maybe - Officer Raulerson has some leverage on her supervisors - that has assisted her in securing the reassignment until the completion of her criminal case. This is really not that hard to suspect - especially given the recent WFTV.Com report that a Volusia County paramedic was apparently blackmailing her supervisors with nude photos of them. ....and there you have it - your Volusia County Government hard at work ...."stand by to stand by ... there is surely more to come of this"...
