"All the rights secured to the citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous Judiciary." ~ Andrew Jackson

Volusia County jail Lieutenant Jason Johnson was arrested last month by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

According to the arrest report, Lt. Johnson was arrested on February 23, 2019 under the criminal charge of domestic violence.

According to a recently filed (March 13, 2019) "No Information" declaration, the State Attorney has opted to drop charges against Lt. Johnson.

VolusiaExposed.Com has received word from Volusia County officials, that as of March 15, 2019, Lt. Johnson has resumed his duties at the county jail.

As per FDLE / (CJSTC - Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission) mandates, county officials are currently conducting an internal investigation into the events surrounding Lt. Johnson's arrest.

It is NOT unusual for domestic violence charges to be drop - regardless, if the suspect is a law enforcement officer, or not.
