Arresting One Of Their Own


According to the attached Brevard Sheriff Department (BCSO) internal affairs investigative report - on September 16, 2016 BCSO Corrections Deputy Xavier McCormack was observed by BCSO Deputy Heather Bivins driving his car in an unsafe manner.

Deputy Bivins did a traffic stop of Deputy McCormack - which eventually lead to McCormack being arrested for driving under the influence.

According to the investigative report - Deputy McCormack tendered his resignation as a corrections deputy on October 20, 2016.
